Sweepzy - Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Sweepzy (“Platform,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By accessing or using our website, mobile application, and services (collectively, the “Services”), you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1) Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services or participate in cleanup events.
• If you are under 18, you must have parental/guardian consent to use the Services.

2) Description of Services

Sweepzy allows Users to:

• Report litter by uploading geotagged photos.
• Join or host cleanup events.
• Earn eco-points or rewards (if applicable).

3) User Accounts

• Users must provide accurate registration details.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are fully responsible for all activities under your account.

4) User-Generated Content

• You retain ownership of photos, videos, or reports you submit (“Content”).
• By submitting Content, you grant Sweepzy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to display, share, and distribute your Content for environmental and promotional purposes.
• You agree not to upload:
  • False, misleading, or duplicate litter reports.
  • Content that is defamatory, offensive, or illegal.

5) Community Guidelines

• Do not use the Services for illegal purposes or spam.
• Do not sell or transfer your Sweepzy account.
• Do not engage in harassment, abuse, or fraudulent activity.
• Do not misrepresent your participation in cleanup events or submit fake cleanup evidence.

Violations may lead to account suspension or termination.

6) Cleanup Event Participation

• Participation in events is voluntary and at your own risk.
• Sweepzy is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages occurring during events.
• Participants must follow local laws and safety guidelines.
• Rewards (if offered) are subject to verification and platform approval.

7) Payments and Rewards

• If rewards or payments are applicable, Users will be informed of the eligibility criteria.
• Rewards are non-transferable and may be revoked in case of fraud.

8) Limitation of Liability

• Sweepzy's maximum liability for any claim shall be the lesser of ₹8,000 or the total amount you paid to us in the last 6 months.
• If you have not paid for any services, our liability is ₹0.
• We are not responsible for:
  • User-generated content.
  • Third-party actions at cleanup events.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9) Dispute Resolution

• Informal Negotiation: Parties must attempt to resolve disputes within 30 days via informal communication.
• Arbitration: Unresolved disputes will be settled via binding arbitration in Mangalore, India.
• Language: Proceedings will be conducted in English/Kannada.
• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

10) Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
• Misuse of Services or fraudulent submissions will lead to termination.

11) Privacy Policy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12) Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Users will be notified via:

• Email (if registered)
• Notice on the Platform

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
